Home Sweet Home

 Happy Monday everyone!  Time to go see my little kiddos at school.  I hope they are ready for a wonderful day.  One thing we do on Mondays is take a walk to the Texas Capital.  It's directly across the street from our school and we often play in the park there.  Mondays we take a walk on the capitol grounds.

Stay Cool!

 Here's a sweet card today, I am off and working on my lace store. I must say it's about the hottest time of the year for Texas.  It was unseasonably cooler this july due to the crazy rains that many of you may have heard about on the news.  Of course, I was in Turkiye at that time.  Now we are still in a situation where we will hit upper 90s to 100 degree days still.  UGH

 Happy Labor Day to all my American friends who are celebrating the holiday today.  School is closed so I am happy for a day off.  Miss the kiddos though, it's my first year of being assigned to a class so I am enjoying being with the same kids all week.

Time to start a new week, so it's MONDAY,  I don't know if that's good or not.  I guess it's supposed to be good. Merhaba, Y'all

 Happy Friday Y'all.  That makes me think of this fun shirt i bought that says, Merhaba, Y'all!  that means Hello (in Turkish) Y'all.  It was a big hit when I went to the Turkish festival here in  Austin.  I will occasionally wear it and sometimes Turkish people will come up to me.  Thought I would add a card today that also says Merhaba, Y'all!
